About the Role
As our Early Childhood Teacher, you will work collaboratively with the Centre Director, Educational Leader and educators to deliver a high-quality educational program that supports every child's learning, development and wellbeing.
Your responsibilities will include
- Planning, implementing and evaluating engaging educational programs aligned with the EYLF V2.0 and National Quality Standard.
- Observing, assessing and documenting children's learning and development.
- Creating stimulating, inclusive and responsive learning environments.
- Supporting children's agency, curiosity, creativity and independence through play-based and intentional teaching.
- Building positive partnerships with children, families and the wider community.
- Mentoring and supporting educators to strengthen teaching practices and curriculum implementation.
- Leading reflective practice and contributing to ongoing quality improvement.
- Maintaining high-quality documentation and compliance with all legislative requirements.
- Contributing to the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and the continuous improvement journey of the service.
- Participating in centre events, excursions, professional learning and community projects.
About You We're looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about early childhood education and committed to providing exceptional outcomes for children.
- A collaborative team player who enjoys mentoring and working alongside educators.
- Reflective, organised and proactive in their approach to teaching.
- Confident in developing meaningful learning programs and documenting children's progress.
- Enthusiastic about building strong relationships with children, families and colleagues.
Essential Requirements
- ACECQA-approved Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent).
- Current NESA Accreditation (or eligibility to obtain).
- Current NSW Working with Children Check.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to obtain before commencement).
- Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF V2.0), National Quality Standard and Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Full Australian working rights.
