We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity at Sydney Airport! We are seeking two highly skilled, talented, enthusiastic, and ambitious Head Chefs to join our exciting new opening, The Rocks Precinct at Sydney Airport T2.
The Rocks Precinct is a vibrant new dining destination bringing together some of Australia’s most loved hospitality brands, including MoVida @ The Airport, The Rocks Taphouse, and ST. ALi.

- Head Chef – MoVida @ The Airport
- Head Chef – The Rocks Taphouse
About the Role
As the Head Chef, you will take full responsibility for food service standards, kitchen operations, and overall culinary delivery within your venue. You will lead and inspire a dedicated kitchen team in a fast-paced airport environment, ensuring consistency, quality, and compliance with food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
You will be supported by an experienced leadership and culinary team during this exciting new venue launch.
As an ideal candidate, you will be a hands‑on culinary leader with strong operational experience, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high‑quality food experiences in a high‑volume environment.
What are we looking for?
- 3+ years of successful industry experience in a Head Chef or senior kitchen position
- Proven ability managing COGS and labour to ensure profitability and success
- Proven experience leading a team of 10+
- Hands on and comfortable with high volumes
- Proven experience in menu development, writing and costing menus
- Strong communication skills with a focus on staff development and harmonious relationships with FOH
- Must have Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
- Motivated and driven Head Chef with a big personality and passion for the hospitality industry!
