Edelweiss Child Care Centre has been proudly serving the Mortdale community for over 25 years. We are a small, privately owned centre catering for children aged 2–6 years, where relationships, connection and high-quality early childhood education are at the heart of everything we do.
We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicatedDiploma Qualified Educator to join our close-knit team on afull-time basis (40 hours per week) .

About the Role
As a Diploma Qualified Educator, you will:
Create warm, responsive and nurturing relationships with children and families.
Assist in planning and implementing engaging educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework.
Support children's learning, development and wellbeing through play-based experiences.
Work collaboratively with our experienced educators to maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
Contribute positively to our friendly team culture and uphold the values of Edelweiss Child Care Centre.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Child Protection Training
- Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards and Early Years Learning Framework
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for providing high-quality education and care

The ability to identify and appropriately respond to concerns relating to children's safety and wellbeing.

Professional reference checks (including at least one previous employer in a child-related role)
Additional probity screening as required
