CJD Equipment is looking for an experienced Resident Field Service Technician to join our growing team!

Reporting to the State Service Manager, this is a dynamic, customer-facing role where you’ll build strong relationships, manage your own workflow, and deliver high-quality service across the Sunshine Coast / Wide Bay region —with full support from our Brisbane branch.

What You’ll Do

- Diagnose, service, and repair construction and earthmoving equipment on-site and in the workshop
- Manage job bookings, communicate directly with customers, and deliver outstanding service
- Build and maintain a loyal regional customer base
- Work independently while staying connected to a supportive team

What You’ll Bring





- Proven field service experience in construction or earthmoving equipment
- Strong diagnostic, technical, and communication skills
- A customer-first mindset and professional approach
- Experience with service diagnostics software and parts catalogues
- Ability to work autonomously with robust time management skills
- Flexibility to travel and stay overnight as required
- LR or MR Licence (or above)
- Air Conditioning Handling Licence
