Role Description The Electrical Building Services AutoCAD Draughting Person will produce and update electrical building services drawings using AutoCAD and related tools. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting engineering designs and specifications, preparing layouts for power distribution and lighting, coordinating with engineers and project team members, and ensuring drawings comply with relevant standards and codes. The role also involves revising documentation based on feedback, maintaining organized drawing files,



and supporting the preparation of project deliverables.

This is a part-time, on-site position based in Clayton, VIC, requiring regular attendance at the office and collaboration with the local team.

Qualifications

Foundational knowledge of electricity and electrical equipment relevant to building services.

Skills in electrical design and electrical engineering for building systems and layouts.

Understanding of power generation and distribution principles in commercial or residential facilities.

Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software for electrical draughting and documentation.

Certificate, diploma, or degree in electrical engineering, building services, or a related discipline is advantageous.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, standards, and technical documentation.

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple drawing revisions.
