Manager | Electrical, Instrumentation & Control (E⁣)

Lead a growing E⁣ team within a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy delivering complex mining, energy and industrial projects.

Our client is a well-established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy delivering engineering design and project delivery services across the mining, energy and industrial sectors.

With a reputation for technical excellence and long-term client partnerships, the business continues to grow and is seeking an experienced E⁣ leader to help shape the next chapter of its engineering capability.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the CEO and joining the Senior Leadership Team, you'll lead the Electrical, Instrumentation & Control discipline while helping shape the strategic direction of the business. You'll balance technical leadership with mentoring engineers, strengthening client relationships and driving continued growth across the discipline.

This is a role for someone who enjoys taking the initiative, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is energised by building trusted relationships with both clients and colleagues. You'll have the opportunity to influence how the business grows, develop future engineering leaders and help create a culture of technical excellence, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor and inspire a high-performing Electrical, Instrumentation & Control team.
- Champion technical excellence across multidisciplinary engineering projects.
- Build trusted client relationships and identify opportunities to grow existing accounts.
- Lead proposals,



tenders and strategic business development initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement across engineering systems, processes and delivery.
- Develop future technical leaders through coaching, mentoring and capability building.
- Contribute to the strategic direction and continued growth of the business.

About You You'll likely be someone who enjoys building relationships as much as solving technical problems.

You'll bring

- Leadership experience within an engineering consultancy, EPCM or project delivery environment.
- Strong Electrical, Instrumentation & Control engineering experience across mining, energy or industrial projects.
- A genuine passion for coaching, mentoring and developing engineering teams.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to build long-term client partnerships.
- Confidence engaging with clients, influencing outcomes and identifying opportunities for future work.
- Degree qualifications in Electrical Engineering, with RPEQ (or the ability to obtain) highly regarded.
