With a strong pipeline of high voltage infrastructure projects, including transmission-level substations from 132kV and above, the organisation is expanding its delivery team to support upcoming projects. You will join a project focused business known for delivering safe, high-quality outcomes across complex electrical environments.

Your New Role

As an Electrical Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of high voltage infrastructure projects, taking ownership of electrical scope from project planning through to construction delivery and commissioning.

Depending on your level of experience, you will be responsible for supporting or leading project delivery activities including programme management, scheduling, procurement, cost control, and coordination of site personnel and electrical subcontractors.

This role is suited to an Electrical Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer with experience delivering HV infrastructure projects, including transmission-level substations from 132kV and above, who is looking to take ownership of significant project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities





- Support or lead the delivery of HV substation projects from planning through to construction and commissioning
- Manage project programmes, schedules, cost tracking, forecasting, and delivery performance
- Coordinate procurement of electrical equipment including switchgear, transformers, protection systems, and associated HV equipment
- Coordinate site personnel, electrical subcontractors, and construction activities to ensure safe and productive project execution
- Work closely with Project Managers, engineering teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure successful project delivery

Your Experience To succeed in this role, you will bring:

- Electrical engineering qualification with experience delivering HV infrastructure projects
- Experience working on transmission-level substations from 132kV and above
- Strong understanding of project delivery, including scheduling, procurement, cost control, and construction activities
- Experience coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and electrical construction works
- Understanding of contract administration including variations, claims, forecasting, and cost reporting
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across engineering, commercial, and delivery teams
