Due to substantial company growth and the award of current projects we are currently recruiting for experienced Underground Mucker Operators

2/2 roster (days & nights) for FIFO and 7/7 roster (days & nights) for locals and Long-term positions!!

Currently we have a number of vacancies for Experienced Underground Mucker Operators throughout the Mt Isa region.

To be successful in these roles:

Must hold a valid Australian Manual Drivers licence (With no restrictions)

Ability to obtain a low risk medical and complete the required Training / Inductions

Must have the ability to pass random D&A; testing

FIFO Positions are only offered to those with relevant Qualifications/ Certificates/ Tickets with prior experience in similar positions.

Must have the ability to Start – ASAP

Perform a range of Mucking duties associated with underground Mucking Operations

Participate in shift change-over and pass on relevant safety & production critical information





Experience preferred in the following machines: CAT R2900, CAT XE R2900, Sandvik 514, Sandvik 517 and Cat R1700

Ability to read and understanding technical mine plans

Flexible approach and adaptable to change with a high attention to detail

Good time management skills and able to work well under pressure

Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment

Willingness and ability to learn new processes

Safety conscious & reliable with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

All these positions are based in Mt Isa. Local residents are encouraged to apply. FIFO will be considered for experienced candidates only and will not be offered to entry level applicants. Entry Level are NOT FIFO positions and relocation assistance is not on offer.

Positions based in Mount Isa on a local mine site.

Flights, Accom & Meals provided for FIFO workers ONLY.

Long Term Roles

FIFO will be available from Townsville, Cairns & Brisbane only.
