About the role
A growing Australian insurtech is looking for Implementation Consultants to deliver tailored solutions for insurers using a configurable platform built entirely in-house.
The Implementation Consultant team sits between business requirements and technical delivery. You’ll work directly with customers to configure workflows, business rules, data models, integrations, and platform logic to suit their setting.
The role combines business analysis, technical configuration, and client delivery. It suits people who enjoy solving problems, working with structured data and logic, and being involved across the full implementation lifecycle.
What you’ll be doing
- Running workshops and gathering requirements
- Configuring workflows, rules, templates, and data models
- Using SQL and scripting to tailor platform functionality
- Supporting testing, integrations, and data migration
- Working closely with Product and Engineering teams
- Supporting customers through delivery and go-live
What they’re looking for
- Strong technical foundation in SQL, scripting, coding, or platform configuration
- SaaS, software vendor, or consulting experience
- Ability to translate business requirements into working solutions
- Strong communication and stakeholder skills
- Experience across software delivery environments (Agile or hybrid SDLC)
Backgrounds could include
- Implementation Consultant

- Developer moving into delivery
- Vendor-side platform specialist
Nice to have
- Insurance or financial services exposure
- Experience with Java, Groovy, C#, or JavaScript
- Experience with configurable or low-code platforms
