About the role

We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Perioperative Scrub/ Scout Enrolled Nurses to join our dynamic clinical team on a casual basis. No overnights or on-call & occasional Saturday work optional.

Duties and responsibilities

This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes. Assist the nursing team to deliver safe, evidence-based patient care

Ensure the theatre complex and equipment are ready for surgery

Ensure patient safety and communication with surgical team is always a key focus

Monitor and evaluate patient recovery, addressing any complications

Deliver education and support to patients for the management of their recovery

Support the multi-disciplinary team About You:

You have a genuine passion for nursing, providing world-class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare.

You will have: Solid experience in perioperative scrub/ scout nursing

Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

About Westside Private Hospital: Westside Private Hospital is a specialised short-stay facility, supporting a diverse range of specialties including Gastroenterology, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, Urology, General & Colorectal Surgery, Dermatology, MOHs, IVF, Breast and Endocrine Surgery, Plastic Surgery and Oral Surgery. It has 4 Operating Theatres, 1 procedure room, 3 treatment rooms, a 12- bed Post Anaesthetic Care Unit, a 9-chair Stage 3 PACU, and 6-bed surgical ward.
