Role Description This is a full time, on-site Estimator role based in Sydney, NSW. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely quotations for access solutions and scaffolding. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing construction drawings and specifications, performing quantity take-offs, assessing labor, material, and equipment costs, and coordinating with project managers and site supervisors to clarify scope and requirements.

The role involves liaising with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing, updating and maintaining estimating databases and templates, and contributing to bid submissions and tender documentation.



The Estimator will also support continuous improvement in estimating processes and collaborate closely with operations to ensure smooth project handover and alignment with safety and efficiency standards.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in construction estimating, preferably within scaffolding or access solutions, with strong ability to interpret drawings and project documentation.

Solid numerical, analytical, and cost-planning skills, including quantity take-offs, budgeting, and pricing of labor, materials, and equipment.

Proficiency with estimating software and MS Office (especially Excel), and comfort working with digital documentation and tender portals.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Understanding of construction safety principles and site practices;

experience with Tier 1 or Tier 2 builders is highly regarded.

Relevant qualification in construction management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

Ability to work on-site in Sydney, NSW, with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset and commitment to Auswide Corp’s values of safety, service, efficiency, productivity, and partnership.
