Civil Plant Operators, HC Truck Drivers & Civil Labourers

Volley Recruit is partnering with one of South Australia's leading civil contractors as they continue to deliver major infrastructure, subdivision, road construction and utilities projects across Adelaide.

With a strong pipeline of secured work, we're seeking experienced Civil Plant Operators, HC Truck Drivers and Civil Labourers who are looking for long-term opportunities with reputable employers.

We're currently recruiting for the following positions:

Excavator Operators

We're looking for experienced operators with proven history operating 5T–40T excavators across civil construction projects.

Experience Required:

- Final trim and detailed excavation
- GPS and non-GPS machine operation
- Trenching around live underground services
- Stormwater, sewer, water and conduit installation
- Working safely in road corridors and high-risk environments

Multi-Skilled Plant Operators

Primarily operating excavators while supporting crews on other machinery when required.

Experience Required:

- Excavator operation (majority of duties)
- Skid Steer operation
- Front End Loader operation
- Dozer experience highly regarded
- HR Truck Licence advantageous

HC Truck Drivers

Experienced HC drivers required to support civil construction crews across multiple projects.

Experience Required:

- Safe operation of HC vehicles
- Civil construction or earthworks experience highly regarded




- Solid understanding of site safety and transport requirements

Civil Labourers

Seeking reliable labourers who enjoy working as part of a civil crew and are looking to develop their careers.

Experience Required:

- General civil construction labouring
- Skid Steer and/or Roller tickets highly regarded
- Site preparation, trench support and general labouring
- Willingness to learn and progress within the industry
- HR Truck Licence pathway available for the right candidates

About You

- Proven experience within the civil construction industry
- Relevant plant tickets and/or RII competencies
- Current White Card
- Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Willing to work both on and off the machine when required
- Able to work effectively within a team environment
- Reliable, punctual and ready for an immediate start
