About the Role

Mali Ston Wine Bar is looking for a reliable and experienced Kitchen Hand to support our kitchen team during busy Friday and Saturday services.

This is a hands-on role involving food preparation, dishwashing, cleaning and assisting with opening and closing duties. Applicants must be consistently available on both Fridays and Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the kitchen team with basic food preparation
- Wash plates, cookware, utensils and kitchen equipment
- Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen
- Follow food-safety and workplace-safety procedures
- Assist with kitchen opening and closing procedures
- Clean benches, floors, equipment and food-preparation areas
- Remove rubbish and correctly manage waste
- Restock kitchen items as required
- Work efficiently during busy service periods
- Support chefs and other team members when needed

Requirements
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand in a restaurant, café or bar
- Availability to work Fridays and Saturdays, including evenings




- Ability to work quickly while maintaining cleanliness and attention to detail
- Positive understanding of kitchen hygiene and cleaning procedures
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
- Ability to safely perform the physical duties of the position
