The Registered





Nurse is responsible for the provision of patient centred; evidence informed nursing care that promotes identified health outcomes. They will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team. Minimum of 2 years’ mental health nursing experience; Hold prior experience in mental health nursing, or; Have completed a new graduate program in mental health, or; Internationally trained as a mental health nurse

Demonstrate sound risk assessment and clinical decision-making skills

Practice within a recovery-oriented, trauma-informed framework
