About the role

TAB Resources Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Underground Fitters & Electricians to support multiple Underground Coal Mining projects across New South Wales. These roles are responsible for the safe execution of underground mining activities, including the operation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of underground plant, equipment, and infrastructure, as well as the provision of operational and supervisory support in accordance with site standards and legislative requirements.

Successful candidates will demonstrate a solid commitment to safety, compliance, and teamwork, contributing to safe production outcomes, equipment reliability, and the effective coordination of underground activities across a range of coal mining environments.

What we're looking for

Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents.

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Minimum 2 years' experience in Underground Coal Mining
- Hold a mining competency for work unaccompanied underground
- Sound knowledge of underground mining equipment and machinery
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Robust commitment to safety protocols and procedures
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team

Successful applicants will be required to undertake an Order 45 medical, including drug and alcohol.

candidates with the following qualifications will be highly regarded:

- Certificate of proficiency in an Electrical or Mechanical (Fitter) trade
- EEHA (Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas)
- CPR/LVR (Low Voltage Rescue & Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
- Hydraulics Level 1 & 2
- DES (Explosion Protected Diesel Engine Systems Maintenance)
