As we prepare to restart this Southern Coalfields operation, we are seeking expressions of interest for experienced and motivated electrical mining workers to join us in building a safe, productive and sustainable future.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking expressions of interest for candidates for permanent positions based at Tahmoor Mine, located in the Southern Highlands of NSW, approximately 80 kilometres south-west of Sydney and within easy commuting distance of Wollongong, the Macarthur region and surrounding communities.

We are looking for experienced Underground Electrical Mineworkers (Electricians) to:

- Execute work activities safely and according to the daily plan

- Work with physical assets, plant and equipment as defined by the Operation’s standards and operating procedures

- Follow defect management processes to ensure equipment is maintained in a safe and fit for purpose state





- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all incidents and hazards

Weekday & Weekend Day/Afternoon/Night shift rosters are available.

ABOUT YOU To be successful in this role, you will be a reliable team player with a positive attitude, sound work ethic and the ability to work safely and effectively in a production-focused environment.

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:

- Certificate III in Engineering Electrical Trade (must)

- Experience working in an underground coal mine environment

- Generic Underground Coal Induction, including Self-Escape and CABA training

- EEHA, High Voltage Switching, and Confined Space qualifications

- First Aid Certificate

- Arc Flash training

- Current Driver's Licence

- Robust commitment to safety and hazard awareness
