We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced MR Driver to join a well-established transport and logistics company based in Cairns, QLD. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role with consistent hours and opportunities for overtime.
Location: Cairns, QLD
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am start Rate: $38 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Complete multi-drop pickups and deliveries of general freight, bulk freight and palletised goods.
- Safely load, unload and transport freight, with regular hand unloading and tailgate deliveries.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and ensure your vehicle is maintained to a high safety standard.
- Accurately manage freight, delivery documentation and customer paperwork.
- Provide professional and reliable customer service while representing the business.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A current Manual MR Licence (essential).
- HR Licence (highly regarded).
- At least 1 year of multi-drop delivery experience in a transport or logistics environment.
- A safe driving record with no more than 8 demerit points.
- The ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen.
- Be prepared to provide a current license history report for the previous five years
- Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia.
