We are currently seeking an experienced Vehicle Stock Controller to join the team at Chadstone Ford & Chadstone Hyundai in Oakleigh on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm.
This is a pivotal role responsible for the accurate management, movement, and administration of vehicle stock across multiple dealerships. Perfect for someone who thrives in a quick-paced environment, enjoys working across multiple priorities, and takes pride in accuracy and organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate vehicle stock records across multiple dealerships
- Process vehicle orders, dealer swaps, and stock movements
- Monitor vehicle ageing and provide stock performance reporting
- Liaise with multiple OEMs regarding vehicle allocations and delivery schedules
- Process vehicle registrations while ensuring compliance requirements are met
- Maintain registration records and manage plate inventory
- Coordinate vehicle transfers between locations
- Assist with month-end procedures and prepare monthly stock reports
- Ensure all documentation is accurate and maintained for audit and compliance purposes
About You
- Available to work full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
- Previous experience in vehicle stock control is highly regarded
- Experience using ERA (Pentana) and strong proficiency in Excel
- Understanding of registration procedures and compliance requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to build strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Able to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy under pressure
