We are growing - join our Defence division at Service Stream supporting the current Property and Asset Services contract.

We have a role available for a Project Manager to join our Defence division to support this new contract. This is a permanent full-time position based that could be based at any of the main defence bases in the Northern Territory.

About the role
You will be responsible for overseeing and managing projects arising from the estate maintenance request activities, survey & quote activities and estate works requests across multiple defence bases.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing, reviewing,
and maintaining project quality plans to ensure high standards are met and compliance of project documentation.
- Preparing and presenting project status reports to the PMO Lead and other senior management.
- Conducting regular financial performance reviews to ensure projects are on budget and financially viable.
- Coordinating with various stakeholders, including military personnel, contractors, and internal teams.
- Ensuring workplace health and safety guidelines are set, implemented, and monitored throughout the project lifecycle.
- Overseeing the procurement of materials and services required for project completing and identifying potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
About you
Our ideal candidate will have:
- 5 years' experience in project management, preferably in the Defence sector or similar industry.
- Experience with estate maintenance request activities, survey & quote activities, and estate works requests are highly desirable.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement, and the ability to effectively communicate with multiple groups.
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety regulations and standards.
- Proficiency in project management software tools.
- Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent would be advantageous.
You must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance.
