Service Technician – Refrigeration & Air Conditioning A.C. Goulding Services Pty Ltd – Cheltenham VIC Position type: Full-time Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 per annum (plus superannuation) Reporting to: Senior Manager A.C. About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Service Technician to install, maintain and repair commercial, industrial and domestic refrigeration and air conditioning systems. This role requires strong technical capability, attention to detail, and the ability to diagnose and resolve faults efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine job requirements and installation reference points
- Install systems and components including compressors, motors, condensers, evaporators, switches and gauges




- Perform pipework installation including cutting, bending, threading and joining (brazing, welding and soldering)
- Conduct system testing, including pressure and leak testing using gas or fluid
- Commission new systems and perform test operations, adjustments and calibrations
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs and component replacements
- Conduct routine servicing and preventative maintenance
- Respond to breakdowns and complete urgent repairs as required
- Maintain accurate service records, including fault identification and corrective actions taken

Skills & Experience

- Relevant trade qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
- Current and valid driver’s licence
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant industry experience
- Demonstrated experience in servicing, maintenance and breakdown diagnostics
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Qualified, reliable, and proactive approach to work
