GRC Hydro is currently seeking a Water Engineer to join our growing team, for a Project Engineer position. Successful candidates will undertake flood and stormwater modelling for flood studies, floodplain management, urban drainage assessments and infrastructure design projects. Candidates will be encouraged to manage and oversee projects wherever possible.

Candidates must have:

Degree in Civil Engineering or Hydroscience

Two to three years experience as a water engineer particularly with TUFLOW model software, as well with DRAINS and WBNM hydrologic models

Demonstrated ability in written and verbal communication

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain good working relationships

The successful candidate will have opportunities to:

Undertake flood and floodplain management studies for a diverse range of projects and localities

Work on major development and infrastructure projects of national significance

Develop, enhance,



calibrate and review hydrologic and hydraulic models

Participate in all aspects of a project from the tendering phase through to project completion

Interact with clients and manage aspects of a project

Be mentored by experienced project managers, hydrologists and flood modellers

Work as part of competent, professional, friendly team

We are offering a full time position in our Sydney office. The successful candidate may be required to travel throughout NSW for meetings and site visits.
