An opportunity currently exists for an experienced Bulk Operator based at our Kensington site, on a full-time permanent basis. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure bulk outloading is run effectively mill Silo space is appropriately managed and supply to packing line (s) is maintained to support site objectives. Ensuring inventory is managed and equipment is thoroughly cleaned in accordance with cleaning schedule.
Key accountabilities include:
- Comply with all relevant legislative requirements and company site policies and procedures.
- Test and record results for deliveries to product specifications (e.g. Protein, Moisture, Visual).
- Comply with Site Quality procedures.
- Maintain all data required for quality management.
- Perform daily CCP check and reporting.
- Promote and adhere to Quality, GMP, HACCP and food safety guidelines.
- Review quality and GMP performance including resolution of necessary corrective actions.
- Ensure truck loading does not create risks to food safety.
- Check and collect overtails as specified, keeping record.
- Identify, remove, and report all foreign objects to Site Management.
- Follow all operational systems to prevent contamination of product prior to and during loading.
- Ensure vehicles are loaded in compliance with product, quantity, and quality requirements.
- Operate Citect system to manage product transfer.
- Operate weigh bridge system to track load management.
- Use MEX to request maintenance tasks.
The successful applicant will possess:
- Experience with Food Safety and HACCP.
- Cleaning of site and equipment to GMP standards.
- Knowledge of Scada Citect systems.
- Knowledge of ERP Systems (SAP or D365) advantage.
- Strong time management skills to allocate time throughout each shift.
- Truck loading and security sealing experience.
- Able to communicate with multiple departments and relevant parties daily.
- Work in a team environment.
- Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Available to work Shift work.
