You'll provide direction to the factory team and machine operators, keep production running smoothly, and still work on the tools when required. This is a hands-on leadership role in a growing business producing premium natural stone, porcelain and sintered stone benchtops. YOUR KEY DUTIES
Provide direction and leadership to the factory team, machine operators and other staff
Supervise and support staff in the timely,
accurate completion of work
Manage a small, close-knit factory team
Regularly work on the tools as required
Implement systems and processes that drive consistency, efficiency and quality
Oversee maintenance of equipment
Ensure effective skills and training programs are implemented
Manage Occupational Health & Safety compliance
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the factory WHAT YOU'LL NEED Stone industry experience is a must
Previous factory manager experience preferred
Benchtop fabrication knowledge from start to finish
Proven leadership - build and manage effective teams
Machinery knowledge highly desirable
