This is an exciting opportunity to join a respected Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation (ACCO) at the beginning of a current program, helping shape practice, build strong community relationships and support Aboriginal children and families through culturally safe, trauma-informed services.

About the Role

Working within a multidisciplinary team, you'll provide strengths-based, trauma-informed case management to children, young people and families, supporting them to remain safely together wherever possible.

You'll be responsible for

- Delivering family preservation case management
- Completing family assessments, safety planning and risk assessments
- Developing family-led case plans
- Undertaking home visits and community-based support
- Working closely with Family Support Workers and key stakeholders
- Building strong relationships with Aboriginal children, families and communities
- Maintaining high-quality case notes and documentation

About You

You'll bring

- Demonstrated case work experience within Family Preservation, Child Protection, Intensive Family Support or a related setting
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed practice and child protection
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
- Diploma in Community Services (or equivalent), or significant relevant experience
