Be the face of Dental United Group in Far North Queensland.

Dental United Group is expanding, and we’re looking for an experienced and motivated Field Service Technician to join our growing team in Townsville.

The role will initially be part-time, with the opportunity for hours to increase and develop into a full-time position as we grow our client base throughout the region.

This is an exciting opportunity to represent our business across Far North Queensland while being fully supported by our experienced technical and administration teams based on the Sunshine Coast.

Working across dental practices throughout the region, you’ll install, service, maintain and repair a wide range of dental equipment. You’ll work independently in the field while always having the support and knowledge of the wider Dental United Group team behind you.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose, service and repair dental equipment

- Install dental equipment and assist with new surgery fit-outs

- Carry out preventative maintenance

- Perform steriliser validation and help practices maintain equipment compliance

- Manage parts, tools and vehicle stock





- Complete service reports and warranty documentation

- Respond to customer concerns and escalate issues when required

- Build strong relationships with existing customers and help grow our client base throughout Far North Queensland

Skills and Experience

- Experience as a service technician in the dental or medical industry is preferred but not essential

- Experience with steriliser validation and compliance requirements is highly regarded

- Electrical, electronic, mechanical or similar trade background
- A qualified electrician would be beneficial but is not essential

- Previous fault-finding and troubleshooting experience

- Basic computer skills, with networking experience advantageous

- Current Australian driver’s licence

- Unrestricted Australian working rights
