About the Role
Based at our Baranduda facility, you will work as part of a highly skilled and supportive team carrying out work aligned with your trade qualification, experience or specialist field.
Depending on your skills and background, your work may include:
- Mechanical maintenance and repairs
- Diagnostics and fault finding
- Equipment refurbishment
- Fabrication and welding
- Hydraulic repairs and installations
- Auto electrical work
- Scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
- Off-site breakdowns and repairs
You will have the opportunity to build on your existing trade skills while gaining exposure to new equipment, systems and specialist training.
The role involves some planned travel throughout Victoria, New South Wales, the ACT and Queensland through a flexible rotational roster,
averaging approximately eight weeks per year.
All transport, accommodation and meals are paid while working away. Living Away from Home Allowance is also payable.
Ample overtime is available.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete maintenance, repairs and equipment refurbishments
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
- Develop and implement practical repair solutions
- Perform scheduled servicing, breakdown repairs and field-based work
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Follow safe work procedures and company policies
- Keep work areas, tools and equipment clean, organised and safe
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of the wider team
About You
You will be well suited to this role if you:
- Have strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills
- Take pride in producing high-quality work
- Can diagnose faults and identify effective solutions
- Work well under pressure
- Are reliable, responsive and flexible
- Can work unsupervised and as part of a team
- Have a strong commitment to workplace safety

Essential Requirements
Applicants must have at least one of the following:
- A relevant trade qualification
- A strong mechanical background
- Previous experience in a similar mechanical, hydraulic, automotive or plant maintenance role
Experience with hydraulics, electrical systems, cranes, heavy vehicles or mobile plant will be highly regarded.
