About the role

RCG Total Plumbing and Gas is seeking a FIFO Construction Plumber on a casual basis to join our dynamic team. This role is based on a fly-in, fly-out arrangement supporting construction projects across Western Australia. As a Construction Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems on construction sites, ensuring all work meets industry standards and client specifications.

Key responsibilities

- Installing and assembling plumbing systems, including pipes, fittings, and fixtures on construction sites
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine material requirements and installation methods
- Conducting inspections and testing of plumbing systems to ensure compliance with relevant building codes and Australian Standards
- Maintaining and repairing plumbing installations, addressing leaks, blockages, and other mechanical issues
- Coordinating with other tradespeople and construction teams to ensure seamless project delivery
- Ensuring all work sites remain clean, safe, and compliant with WorkSafe regulations
- Using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete plumbing tasks
- Communicating regularly with site supervisors and clients regarding project progress and any issues arising

What we're looking for Current plumbing licence or trade qualification recognised in Western Australia

- Proven experience working as a plumber on construction sites, preferably in FIFO environments
- Robust knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and installation techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately
- Excellent understanding of relevant building codes, Australian Standards, and safety regulations




- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools commonly used in plumbing work
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a larger construction team
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Physical fitness and ability to work in various weather conditions and challenging environments
- Flexibility and reliability to meet project deadlines and rostering requirements
- Current First Aid certificate and White Card (Construction Induction) are highly desirable
