Reporting directly to the CFO, you will operate at the intersection of commercial analysis, FP&A;, business partnering, business intelligence and innovation. Your focus will be on understanding business performance, identifying opportunities and risks, and translating insights into tangible outcomes.Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering commercial insights across customers, products, revenue streams and business performance.
- Analysing revenue, margins, profitability and growth drivers to support strategic decision-making.
- Building financial models, scenario analysis and business cases to evaluate opportunities and investments.
- Partnering with leaders across the organisation to influence decisions and drive accountability for outcomes.
- Identifying operational improvements, commercial opportunities and emerging risks.
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and planning activities where required.
- Contributing to AI, automation, business intelligence and process improvement initiatives.
- Helping evolve finance from a reporting function into a strategic, insight-led business partner.
We are looking for a commercially minded finance or commercial analyst with the curiosity, analytical capability and stakeholder skills to influence business outcomes rather than simply report on them.You will bring:
- Approximately 3-7 years' experience within Commercial Finance, Commercial Analysis, FP&A;, Strategy or Business Performance roles.
- Demonstrated experience analysing revenue, margins, profitability, commercial opportunities and business performance.
- Strong financial modelling, analytical and advanced Excel capabilities.
- The ability to convert analysis into recommendations and influence decision-making.
- Experience partnering with stakeholders across different functions and levels of an organisation.
- A commercial mindset with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Exposure to FMCG, retail, consumer goods, SaaS, technology, subscription-based businesses or similarly commercial environments will be highly regarded.
- Interest or experience in AI, automation, business intelligence or digital transformation initiatives.
- CA, CPA or equivalent qualifications will be viewed favourably but are not essential.

- $125,000- $130,000 base salary plus superannuation.
