The Trustee for TG Caulfield Trust operates a warehouse, storage and logistics facility based at Clayton VIC, it supports storage, distribution and back-of-house logistics operations, providing a strategically located base within Melbourne.
TG Caulfield is part of a broader operational network connected to established food & beverage and retail businesses, bringing a practical, service-driven approach to warehousing and supply chain support.
We are looking for a full-time Junior Accountant to join the team! This role will assist in managing the accounting and reporting requirements, including Accounts Payable and Receivable and general finance functions for different business units of the company.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, including accurate data entry, payment processing, and receipting
- Conduct daily bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accurate cash flow tracking
- Monitor customer accounts and chase debtors for outstanding payments
- Process fortnightly payroll for the company
- Respond to supplier queries via phone and email; reconcile supplier statements
- Assist with month-end and year-end account reconciliations
- Assist in preparation of BAS
- Handle account-related queries from both internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain accurate accounting records and assist with the preparation and organization of financial reports, forms, and analyses
- Conduct month end or quarter end stock take of the warehouse
- Other related Ad-hoc
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 1 - 2 years’ experience in a similar accounting role
- Degree qualified in Accounting or Finance preference
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office Suite
- Experience with financial software packages such as Xero and/or MYOB
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team workplace
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese (written and verbal) is essential
