Highway Tyres is currently seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Hand and Delivery Driver to join our team.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, takes pride in their work and is comfortable completing regular delivery runs throughout metropolitan and regional Victoria.
The successful applicant will be well presented, dependable and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. A positive attitude, strong work ethic and commitment to providing excellent service are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking and preparing tyres for daily delivery runs
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
- Delivering tyres to customers and tyre outlets throughout metropolitan and regional Victoria
- Unloading shipping containers alongside other warehouse team members
- Receiving, checking and storing incoming stock
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse
- Completing delivery paperwork accuratelyProviding friendly and professional service to customers
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
About You
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Hold a current unrestricted Australian driver’s licence
- Have a safe and responsible driving history
- Be reliable, punctual and well presented
- Be physically capable of regularly lifting and handling tyres
- Be able to read, write and communicate clearly
- Have valuable attention to detail
- Work well within a team environment
- Be willing to assist wherever required
- Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude
An MR or HR licence is not required for this position.
A current forklift licence is preferred.
Previous warehouse, delivery driving or tyre industry experience would be advantageous; however, training will be provided to the right applicant.
