About the Role

As a Professional Waiter, you'll play an important role in delivering the Rowlee experience across lunch, dinner, weddings and special events.

You’ll confidently manage your own section while working closely with our kitchen, wine and leadership teams to ensure every guest leaves wanting to return.

Your Responsibilities

- Deliver attentive, polished and genuinely warm table service.
- Confidently manage a restaurant section during service.
- Guide guests through our seasonal menus and recommend wine pairings.
- Present and serve wine professionally, including opening and decanting where appropriate.
- Maintain exceptional dining room presentation before, during and after service.
- Work collaboratively with chefs and front-of-house colleagues to deliver seamless service.
- Respond professionally to guest requests and resolve issues with confidence and care.
- Assist with weddings, private events and estate experiences as required.
- Support the training and development of junior team members.
- Maintain the highest standards of RSA compliance, food safety and workplace presentation.

About You

You’ll be someone who genuinely enjoys looking after people and understands that outstanding hospitality is found in the details.





You’ll ideally bring:

- Previous experience in premium restaurants, wineries, hotels or similar hospitality venues.
- Current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate.
- A passion for food, wine and hospitality.
- Confidence discussing menus and making wine recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High personal presentation and professionalism.
- Strong attention to detail.
- The ability to remain calm and organised during busy service periods.
- Availability to work weekends, evenings and public holidays.

Highly Valued

- Wine knowledge or WSET qualifications.
- Experience in winery restaurants or regional hospitality.
- Previous experience with SevenRooms or Lightspeed POS.
- Barista or cocktail experience.
- Leadership experience or an interest in progressing into supervisory roles.
