UNSW Canberra has been engaged by a large Federal Government client to manage and deliver high quality and innovative language services to officers preparing for overseas postings and for the maintenance of language skills of officers in Australia.

We are looking for local Canberra based tutors in the above languages, however open to interstate expressions of interest. You will only be contacted by the Language Services team should a position become available.
Accountabilities
- Face to Face training (1 hour Preparation provided for 4 hours of Delivery).
- Immersion courses.
- Lunchtime discussion groups.
- Exam conducting and marking.
- Report writing and other associated duties.
- Preparation of lesson plans, including teaching content and associated materials.
- Other duties within the scope of the classification, as requested.
A person engaged is generally expected to have the following skills and experience:
- Qualification and subsequent experience relevant to the engagement.
- Proven ability and experience teaching a foreign language to English speaking students.
- A demonstrated understanding of teaching methods and techniques relevant to the engagement.
- Proven organisation and time management capability and experience.
- Proven experience managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.
