About the role
We are seeking motivated and experienced registered Psychologists, Social Workers, and Counsellor to provide critical incident and crisis counsellingsupport to our client organisations. This role involves using PsychologicalFirst Aid (PFA), along with other trauma-specific interventions and approaches,to support individuals and their organisations through one-on-one traumasupport and group sessions.
In this role, you will
- Provide criticalincident and crisis counselling support to client organisations.
- Deliverone-on-one trauma support and group sessions using Psychological First Aid(PFA) and trauma-specific interventions.
- Respond toemergency and planned incidents, organisational changes, and disasters.
- Support clientsthrough stepped care, referrals, and organisational recommendations.
- May includedelivery of employee counselling, training, and consulting services.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years’experience in trauma management, psychosocial support, and counselling.
- Experience inworkplace assessment, intervention planning, and providing outcome-focusedadvice.
- Robust time management,report writing, negotiation, and facilitation skills.
- Able to workflexibly and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Tertiaryqualification in Behavioural Sciences and registration with relevantprofessional body (e.g., AHPRA, AASW, ACA, PACFA).
- Training inPsychological First Aid required.
- Current driver’slicense and own vehicle essential.
