We are seeking a friendly, organised, and qualified Medical Receptionist to join our team in a full-time role.

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play an integral role in creating a welcoming experience for our patients while supporting the day-to-day administration of our busy practice.

About the Role

Responsibilities include:

- Front desk duties including greeting patients and providing exceptional customer service.
- Appointment bookings and management
- Answering telephone and email enquiries
- Entering and managing accurate patient records
- Processing referrals and correspondence
- Handling payments and receipting
- Processing Medicare and private health fund claims
- Providing general administrative support to the team

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:





- Previous medical reception or medical administration experience (essential)
- Previous Gentu experience (desired)
- Excellent telephone manner and professional email communication skills, with strong attention to written presentation
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment,
- A warm, friendly, and approachable manner with a genuine desire to provide exceptional patient care
- Confident using computers and learning new systems
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Full working rights in Australia and able to work full time
