Role Description This part-time remote Financial Analyst / Bookkeeper role focuses on supporting accurate financial planning, reporting, and day-to-day bookkeeping for Stadmaken Den Haag. The role includes preparing and reviewing financial statements, maintaining ledgers, processing invoices and payments, and reconciling bank and account balances.
The Financial
Analyst / Bookkeeper will analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide clear insights to support budgeting and decision-making.
Responsibilities also include preparing periodic financial reports, assisting with forecasts, ensuring compliance with internal controls, and collaborating with project teams on financial matters.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Finance and Financial Planning to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial decisions.
- Strong Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret data, identify variances, and provide clear recommendations.
- Proficiency in preparing, reviewing, and interpreting Financial Statements,
including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Experience in Financial Reporting, including periodic management reports and documentation for stakeholders.
- Solid bookkeeping skills, including ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, invoice processing, and expense tracking.
- Comfort with common accounting and spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel, cloud-based accounting tools).
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a remote environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with non-financial stakeholders.
- Relevant education in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; qualified certifications are an advantage.
- Experience working with project-based or nonprofit organizations is beneficial.
