Role Description This part-time Financial Analyst role is a hybrid position based in Melbourne, VIC, with flexibility to work both onsite and from home.

The Financial

Analyst will support financial planning activities, assist in preparing and analyzing financial statements, and contribute to routine financial reporting. Daily tasks include gathering and validating financial data, performing variance and trend analysis, and preparing concise reports and visual summaries for stakeholders. The role will also involve collaborating with team members to maintain accurate financial records, support budgeting and forecasting processes, and provide analytical insights to improve decision-making.

Qualifications

- Ability to perform Financial Planning activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and basic modeling.
- Strong Analytical Skills for interpreting data, identifying trends,



and providing actionable insights.
- Knowledge of Financial Statements and core Finance concepts to support accurate analysis and reporting.
- Experience or training in Financial Reporting, including preparing summary reports and presentations.
- Relevant tertiary education or ongoing studies in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and financial analysis tools; familiarity with accounting or ERP systems is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage part-time workload in a hybrid setting.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
