Your new role

Due to continued growth, a new Financial Controller position has been created on a permanent full-time basis. Reporting to the CFO and leading a capable finance team, you will be hands-on, enjoy problem-solving and work on complex business transactions. Your daily functions will include:

- Lead daily and period-end finance operations through solid processes and empowered teams
- Support company and trust secretary duties
- Manage tax accounting, strategy, compliance and record keeping
- Driving process improvement, documentation, automation, simplification and Ai use
- Prepare and enhance cash flow forecasts, reports, analysis and decision tools
- Strengthen internal controls, financial and system security and disaster recovery
- Champion simplification and standardisation across the organisation
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, commercial and tax acumen and regulatory responsiveness while working closely with all teams





What you'll need to succeed

You will be +10 years CA or CPA qualified and have significant experience within a reputable Chartered Accounting firm or across a mix of public practice and industry. You will be a proven leader who enjoys working with complex accounting, tax and trust concepts. You will have strong tax, accounting, trust and structuring knowledge, be energised by solving complex problems and have an engaging and supportive leadership style that brings out the best in a stable team.

You will be committed to delivering efficiency gains and ensuring processes remain best practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong leader to join a commercially focused, values-based organisation.
