Working model: Hybrid A little bit about you You're an experienced finance leader with a strong track record in financial planning and analysis, ideally within a complex, multi-entity organisation. You bring advanced modelling and forecasting skills, sound judgement and the ability to translate complex financial information into clear, practical advice for a range of stakeholders from Boards and Executives through to non-financial colleagues. Significant experience in a senior FP&A; or finance leadership role within a complex organisation Demonstrated experience developing complex modelling and forecasting tools to agreed timeframes Experience preparing Board, Executive and external-level reporting, ideally within a not-for-profit or charity environment Proven ability to lead, coach and develop a small specialist team while managing competing priorities with discretion and resilience

Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, with CA/CPA qualification (essential) Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and ideally, Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission obligations About the role The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager leads financial modelling, forecasting and analysis across St Vincent de Paul Society Victoria and its related Group entities, ensuring financial information is accurate, timely, reliable and decision useful. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you'll provide senior technical and operational finance leadership, strengthening financial forecasting through disciplined processes agreed across key stakeholders, supporting the Society's mission, governance obligations and long-term financial sustainability.



You'll work closely with the CFO, Manager Finance Business Partnering, Financial Controller, People and Culture Payroll, Executive leaders, Boards and Committees to keep sustainability front and centre.

View the Position Description here Key responsibilities Lead the Group Financial Planning and Analysis function, ensuring robust assumptions, financial discipline and data integrity Own and maintain integrated financial models covering short and long term P&L;, balance sheet and cashflow across multiple group entities Lead the development of budget and forecast tools, working closely with the Business Partnering team Prepare reports, papers and analysis for the Group Audit, Finance and Risk Committee, Boards and Committees Provide senior financial advice to the CFO, Executive Leadership Team and senior stakeholders on planning and analysis matters Manage Financial Planning and Analysis team resources, workload and priorities to meet statutory, audit and reporting deadlines Lead, coach and develop a small specialist team, building capability, succession depth and a psychologically safe team culture Why join Vinnies?
