Job Overview Responsible for testing, inspecting, and ensuring the functionality of fire safety systems in line with Australian Standards. This role is crucial in maintaining fire safety standards and contributing to the overall safety and compliance of residential and commercial buildings. Duties / Responsibilities Perform systematic testing and inspections of fire safety systems, including automatic fire detection systems, emergency warning and intercom systems, sprinkler systems, hose reels, hydrants, portable fire equipment, and emergency lighting, to ensure compliance with Australian standards.
Accurately document all testing activities,
report deficiencies, and provide detailed inspection reports to both internal teams and external clients
Liaise with clients, team members, and supervisors to schedule tests, communicate findings, and ensure the timely completion of all required works
Ensure all tasks and results are recorded in the Uptick system, maintaining detailed records of service activities
Ensure all work is conducted in accordance with Australian fire safety regulations whilst maintaining a safe working setting at all times Requirements Driver licence
WHS General Construction Induction Card (White Card) PLANT, EQUIPMENT AND TOOLS A motor vehicle will be provided once trained.
