Trade Fitters (Assembly) – Day Shift – Pinkenba We’re looking for Trade Qualified Mechanical Fitters to join a well-known heavy engineering company based in Pinkenba. This is a great opportunity to work on the assembly and reconditioning of industrial gearboxes used in mining and other large-scale industries. If you’re hands‑on, reliable, and take pride in quality work, this could be the perfect fit for you.

What’s on offer - $51.40 p/h Day shift 5:30am – 2:00pm - Clean, organised, and safety-focused workshop - Ongoing role with long-term potential About the role - Assemble and recondition heavy‑duty gearboxes - Follow detailed instructions and engineering drawings - Use precision tools like torque wrenches and micrometers - Maintain correct alignments, tolerances, and oil sealing - Work as part of a small,



supportive team - Keep your work area clean and secure What you’ll need - Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering (Fitting & Turning) - Good mechanical knowledge and attention to detail - Forklift ticket ESSENTIAL - Experience operating overhead cranes safely - Dogger or rigger licence (preferred) - Able to work safely and follow procedures - Have experience with measuring using micrometer.

- Have some experience with stripping of components and assessing.
- Reliable transport to get to site on time - Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test Working Rights – Must have full working rights and reside in Australia Ready to take your fitting skills to the next level?
