Shift: Night Shift A leading national wharf cartage business is seeking an experienced Night Shift Fleet Controller to join its busy operations team based in Kewdale.

This is an excellent chance for an organized transport professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has proven experience coordinating container and wharf cartage operations across the Perth metropolitan area.

About the Role

Working closely with drivers, customers and the operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating nightly transport activities, ensuring efficient fleet utilization and delivering exceptional service while maintaining compliance and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and manage a fleet of container trucks operating across Perth
- Allocate and monitor driver movements throughout the shift
- Plan and optimize daily work schedules
- Liaise with drivers, customers and port operations to ensure on-time deliveries and collections
- Monitor vehicle productivity and respond quickly to operational issues
- Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR), fatigue management and company procedures




- Maintain accurate transport records and communicate shift handovers effectively

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience as a Fleet Controller, Allocator or Transport Scheduler
- Essential: Strong knowledge of wharf cartage and container transport operations
- Experience coordinating container movements
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure
- Strong computer skills and experience using transport management systems
- A proactive attitude with a strong customer service focus
