The Opportunity
William Buck Perth is seeking a motivated and analytical Forensic Analyst / Internal Auditor to join our growing Risk & Advisory team.
This unique role offers a diverse mix of work across both Forensic Services (50%) and Internal Audit (50%), providing exposure to investigations, disputes, governance reviews, risk assessments and internal audit engagements.
Working alongside an experienced leader, you'll gain hands-on involvement in complex and rewarding engagements while building a strong foundation in both forensic and risk advisory services.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assist with forensic investigations, internal audits and risk advisory projects.
- Analyse financial and operational information to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Review controls, governance and business processes.
- Prepare reports, working papers and client deliverables.
- Support planning, testing, research and reporting activities.
- Develop solid client relationships and deliver high-quality service.
- Collaborate with team members to provide practical recommendations and solutions.
About You We're looking for someone who is curious, detail-oriented and passionate about solving problems. You will ideally have:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in forensic accounting, internal audit, external audit.
- Relevant tertiary qualification.
- CA, CPA or equivalent qualification (or working towards completion).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience preparing reports and working with data, including Excel.
- High level of professionalism, integrity and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Highly Regarded
- Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)
- Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (ACAMS)
- Previous professional services experience

- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- Flexibility to work outside normal business hours when engagement requirements arise.
