Roles and Responsibilities
- Work to a design standard
- Set up and maintain equipment and tools
- Keep workspaces clean and organised
- General maintenance duties
- Assembly of machines and sub-assemblies
- Assisting in painting processes
- Cutting steel
- Detailing machinery
- Restocking of parts and components
- Other duties as required
What You Will Learn
- Traineeship or apprenticeship: Cert II Engineering, Cert III Engineering (welding, machining, spray painting etc.)
- Hand and power tool usage
- Manufacturing and production processes
- Hydraulics, metal work and electronic components
- Stock control
- How to work as part of a team, and how to work autonomously
Schedule
- 38 hours, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime (notice provided)
- Full time position, immediate start
The Successful Candidate Must Have
- No experience required
- Driver's and forklift licence (preferred)
- Safety conscious at all times
- Reliable transport
- Strong time management
- Willingness to complete a paid trial (up to 2 weeks)
