We specialise in servicing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy diesel motor vehicles, delivering reliable mechanical solutions to commercial transport operators.

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Diesel Motor Mechanic to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful applicant will be responsible for diagnosing faults, servicing, repairing, and maintaining heavy diesel vehicles to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in diesel vehicles using diagnostic equipment.
- Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on heavy diesel engines and vehicle systems.
- Repair or replace defective engine, transmission, braking, hydraulic, and electrical components.
- Overhaul diesel engines, including dismantling, inspection, repair, and reassembly.
- Conduct testing,



calibration, and inspections to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
- Prepare service reports and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance.
- Perform welding and fabrication work where required.
- Provide breakdown and emergency repair support when necessary.

Skills and Experience

- Hold a relevant trade qualification in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology.
- Have a minimum of one year of full-time relevant post-qualification work experience.
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of diesel engine diagnostics and repair procedures.
- Possess solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full-time position for a minimum period of 3 years
- Salary between $79,000 – $82,000 per annum (plus superannuation), depending on skills and experience
