About the Role
Whitsunday Anglican School is seeking an Economics Teacher with the capacity to teach Business Studies to join our Secondary teaching team.

Primary Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver highly engaging lessons in collaboration with members of the teaching team
- Developing a culture of high expectations for all students
- Providing feedback to students and parents via the Continuous Reporting system
- Developing robust relationships with colleagues, students and parent
- Using data to analyse the progress of students and to review teaching and learning strategies.
Candidate Profile
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, with the ability to teach Business and Accounting.
- Current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers
- Demonstrated high level organisational, networking and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated use of initiative, with the ability to anticipate the needs of a School organisation
- A team player with robust interpersonal skills, who has the ability to engage and inspire
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Enthusiastic commitment to participating in the School's pastoral and cocurricular programmes
