Receptionist (Floating) – Northern Region

Vision Radiology is seeking a full-time Receptionist to join our Northern Region team. This is a dynamic floating role that provides reception support across our northern clinics, helping to ensure seamless patient care when our teams need additional coverage.

This is a 38-hour per week position, Monday to Friday, with the opportunity to work optional Saturday shifts for those who are interested.

About the Role

As a Floating Receptionist, you'll provide front-of-house support across our northern clinics, including:

- Coburg
- Thornbury
- Reservoir
- North Melbourne
- Greensborough

You will travel between these clinics as required to provide coverage for planned and unplanned absences, including annual leave, sick leave, and training.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and is comfortable adapting to different teams and clinic environments. No two days are the same, and your flexibility will play an important part in ensuring our clinics continue to deliver exceptional patient care.

What You'll Be Doing

- Welcoming patients and providing exceptional customer service
- Managing appointments and patient enquiries
- Processing patient registrations and referrals
- Handling phone calls and administrative tasks




- Working collaboratively with radiologists, technicians, and clinic teams
- Providing reception support wherever it's needed across our northern locations

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

- Adaptable and able to quickly settle into different clinic environments
- Confident working in a busy, fast-paced setting
- Friendly, professional, and patient-focused
- Highly organised with excellent time management skills
- A strong communicator who enjoys working as part of a team
- Comfortable learning recent systems and processes

Essential Requirements

- Current driver's licence and a reliable vehicle
- Willingness and ability to travel between our northern clinics as required
- Flexibility to work at any of our northern locations to provide coverage for annual leave, sick leave, and training
- Previous reception or customer service experience (medical reception experience is highly regarded but not essential)
