North West Energy is a growing Melbourne-based residential solar and battery retailer. We handle the marketing, the lead generation, the phone qualification, the system design support, the paperwork and the installation - you do the one thing you're best at: sit with the homeowner, build trust, design the right solution, and close the deal.

We're a lean, owner-led business, not a call-centre churn operation. You'll deal directly with the founder, your feedback will actually change how we operate, and your earning potential grows with the business.

What the role looks like

- Our team qualifies inbound and purchased leads by phone. When a homeowner is genuinely interested, the appointment is handed to you.

- You visit the customer's home (metro Melbourne), assess their energy usage, roof and switchboard situation, and present a tailored solar and/or battery solution.

- You quote from our transparent price guide covering leading brands - Fox ESS, GoodWe, Sungrow, Growatt, Jinko and more - with federal STC and battery rebates and Solar Victoria incentives applied.

- You close the sale, collect the deposit, and hand over to our installation team of SAA-accredited electricians. We take it from there.

What you'll earn

- $1,000-$2,000 commission per closed sale, based on deal margin - genuinely uncapped.

- Paid promptly on deposit clearance - not months later on installation.

- Realistic on-target earnings of $90,000-$150,000+ as appointment volume scales.



Top closers converting well above average will exceed this.

- No base salary. This is a commission-based contractor role for someone confident in their close rate. If you need a salary to feel safe, this isn't the right fit - if you back yourself, you'll out-earn most salaried reps.

What we're looking for

- Proven face-to-face or in-home sales experience - solar, energy, home improvement, telco or similar high-ticket B2C.

- Ability to explain solar and battery systems credibly: usable vs nominal kWh, hybrid vs AC-coupled inverters, single vs three-phase, rebate eligibility. (If you have the sales skill but need product depth, we'll train you on our systems and price guide.)

- Own reliable vehicle, current driver's licence, and an ABN (or willingness to obtain one - takes minutes online).

- Honest, consultative style. We sell on value and compliance, not pressure. Our reputation is the business.

- Melbourne-based with availability for weekday evening and weekend appointments (when homeowners are actually home).

North West Energy engages sales consultants as independent contractors. Commissions are paid per closed and deposited sale against agreed margin terms confirmed in writing before you start.
