Are you looking for adaptable work in secondary schools this September? Veritas Education is seeking confident and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work on a day-to-day supply basis across a range of secondary schools.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced cover supervisors, youth workers, sports coaches, or individuals with experience working with young people.
The Role
- Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
- Ensure students remain engaged with the work set
- Follow school policies and procedures
- Provide feedback to teaching staff at the end of the lesson
No planning or marking is required.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience working with young people aged 11-16 or 11-18
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- A confident and professional approach
- Reliability, flexibility, and a positive attitude
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
