About the Role
You’ll work alongside experienced sonographers, approachable radiologists, and supportive administration teams, using high-quality GE, Siemens and Canon equipment across a broad range of examinations.
This role suits someone who values:
- High-quality diagnostic imaging
- Realistic scan times and sustainable daily workloads
- Individual patient care over high patient turnover
- Collaboration and clinical discussion with colleagues and radiologists
- A respectful and well-organised workplace
- Work-life balance and protected personal time
- Continuous learning and professional growth
- Working within a team that supports clinical judgement and encourages development
We intentionally avoid high-volume overbooking models and aim to provide appointment structures that allow sonographers to perform thorough, diagnostic-quality scans without unnecessary pressure.
What We Offer
- Sustainable and manageable workloads
- Adaptable full-time or part-time arrangements
- Predictable rosters and respect for finish times
- Paid conference leave
- Professional development allowance
- Opportunities to further develop skills across a range of scan types
- Supportive and accessible radiologists
- Strong operational and administrative support
- A stable and growing employer entering its 25th year
- A workplace focused on long-term retention, not short-term turnover
- Employee discounts across a variety of popular retail outlets
- Option to participate in bonus scheme
About You
- Current ASAR registration
- Professional Indemnity Insurance
- Experience across general, obstetric, gynaecological, MSK and vascular ultrasound (preferred but not essential)
- A patient-focused and professional approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A desire to work in a respectful, collaborative and quality-focused environment
We welcome applications from experienced sonographers, part-time candidates, and those returning to the workforce.
This role is intended for experienced candidates; trainee or entry-level applicants will not be considered at this time.
The Honest Part
At Marina Radiology, we focus on creating an environment where sonographers can perform high-quality work sustainably, feel supported by their team, and maintain balance outside of work.
We would love to speak with you.
