About Us

Malvern Vet Hospital has been caring for Melbourne's pets since 1956 and has been an ASAVA Accredited Hospital of Excellence since 1981.

We're an independently owned practice with a large and experienced team of veterinarians, nurses, groomers, and support staff. We are proud of our reputation for delivering gold-standard patient care, but we're equally proud of the culture we've built.

Many of our team members have been with us for years. Some started as trainees and have grown into leadership positions. Others have left and returned because they missed the supportive setting, strong sense of teamwork and positive culture.

What We're Looking For

Ideally, you will have:

- A minimum of 2 years' veterinary nursing experience
- Certificate IV or bachelor degree in Veterinary Nursing (preferred but not essential)




- Confidence across general nursing duties, anaesthesia monitoring, patient care and hospital nursing
- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Is self-aware, empathetic and respectful in your interactions
- Communicates thoughtfully and constructively
